From delivering safe drinking water and treating wastewater responsibly to developing sustainable water supplies and protecting lives and property through flood control, your work will directly support public health, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure resilience. In the role of Water Resources EIT/Designer, we’ll count on you to:
  • Take responsibility for performing complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures
  • Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed
  • Function as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects as needed
  • Supervise small staff of professionals and technicians as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years experience executing technical studies, analyses, and/or designing and creating plans and specifications for water focused projects
  • Preference is given to local candidates
  • EIT – candidates hired without their EIT will be titled Water Resources Designer and will be expected to receive their EIT license for career progression

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
  • Interest or experience analyzing and designing water focused systems
  • Experience with production, simulation, and automation such as BIM systems, numerical modeling platforms, and other production tools
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) The salary range is {Pennington, NJ}: $67,298 – $96,140; {New York, NY}: $73,150 – $104,500
