Plant Manager

Heartwood is hiring a Plant Manager to lead operations at our Wallowa, Oregon wood products manufacturing facility.

This is a newly created position reporting directly to the CEO. You’ll oversee all aspects of facility operations including production, maintenance, safety, team development, and P&L accountability while working closely with our leadership team, including sales, and collaborating with our Tuolumne County, California facility.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in industrial manufacturing management, preferably forest products
• Strong P&L management and understanding of the operational levers that drive profitability
• Experience with capital improvement projects and preventative maintenance programs
• Ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders
• A leader who builds cohesive, accountable teams grounded in safety, quality, and continuous improvement
