Job Description:
– Level III: 5-7 years.
– Follows experimental procedures and generate reliable data in a timely manner
– Provides independent thought, contributes to and designs his/her own experiments.
– Individual contributor for his or her projects or task with guidance from a group or project leader.
– Able to effectively listen and communicate within the work team, providing clear and concise documentation of technical results, and able to orally present work.
– Candidates who are ready to touch paint, perform ‘check mixes’ (mixing together raw materials according to a recipe) and perform some basic bench testing including viscosity, density cup, and others.
– Have at least some established bench skills that will be able to start preparing paint samples according to a recipe and testing them fairly quickly with minimal instruction.
– Samples will typically be 1-2 gallons, but there will be the occasional need to work with and be able to lift 5-gallon pails at 50 or so lbs.
