Location: Coast Salish territories (Regular in-person work in Anacortes plus travel)

Compensation: $22-26/hour, depending on experience
About the Coast Salish Youth Coalition
The Coast Salish Youth Coalition (CSYC) is an Indigenous-led nonprofit that empowers tribal youth through environmental stewardship, traditional foodways, and intergenerational knowledge sharing. We build bridges between tribal communities, public land agencies, and local communities, creating space for healing, connection, and Indigenous leadership.
Position Summary:
The Seasonal Field Assistant will support on-the-ground ecological restoration and education across Coast Salish territories. Working closely with the CSYC team, this position plays a hands-on role in restoration fieldwork, youth mentorship, and community programming centered on culturally significant plants, traditional foods, and Indigenous ecological knowledge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about Indigenous-led land stewardship, youth empowerment, and environmental education.
