Youth Worker – Airplay

Can you inspire, energise and motivate children aged 5-18 years?Do you enjoy making a real difference to the lives of children and young people?Are you keen to work with a friendly team where your contributions will be valued and you will be treated with respect?Airplay is a national youth work programme delivered on behalf of the RAF Benevolent Fund (RAFBF). Airplay Clubs are for children aged eight to 18, which includes our digital Airplay Connect service and Ben Clubs which provide fun activities for children aged five to seven.Hours and pay: we need you to join us on Monday: 5:30pm – 8:00pm, Tuesday: 5:00pm – 8:00pm, Wednesday: 5:00pm – 8:00pm
This amounts to 7 hours per week in total. These are the regular term-time hours. Working hours are likely to change during holidays to accommodate our holiday activity programmes, which the team will plan together. As such, some flexibility is required.Any timings of hours would be agreed in partnership with your line manager.Reporting to the Station Youth Worker, an Airplay Worker supports with the delivery of a range of outreach and centre based youth work with young people aged 5-18 years and in line with the Airplay Theory of Change and YMCA Youth Work Strategy and Principles.
