They will work closely with the ATM/ Supervisor regarding any issues that they come across to achieve the production plan that ensure customer supply. You will be carrying out tasks that require a hands-on approach and operating machinery. The role will require flexibility and good communication skills. All training will be given.The role requires a proactive individual with a ‘can do’ attitude who is committed to maintaining high standards in production whilst working as part of a dynamic team. Will be required to move lines across the factory as and when requiredWhat will be your key deliverables?Carry out all pre-start checksEnsure product is made to the correct quality and specification for start of shift and throughoutUnderstand equipment and machinery set upEnsure changeovers are completed to procedure Ensure any re-work procedures are followedEnsure product is to correct quality and specification, make adjusts to machinery settings to maintain product consistencyEnsure all documentation is filled in correctly and to the right standardAlways maintain everyday factory standards safelyShift handovers are completed in area and to agreed agendaTrain peers and new operatives in equipment use and procedures when requiredUndertake basic problem diagnosis and maintenanceEnsure team understand the planning of their daily tasksCommunicate directly with relevant person to resolve any issuesFast-paced, noisy and warm environment.Bring your experienceEssentialBasic numerical and literacy knowledgeManual dexterityBasic communication skillsBasic problem recognitionExcellent team working skillsBe able to multi-task and have the drive and tenacity to work under your own initiativePositive attitude and willingness to drive change within operational environment

DesirablePrevious experience is desirable but not essential, training will be given.Knowledge of manufacturing environment and of HACCP and safe systems of workUnderstand zonal Key Performance Indicators (production targets, waste levels and line performance)What does the recruitment process consist of?Assessments – Swift Comprehensive Aptitude assessment along with a Workplace English assessment.
