WGL – Sr. Asset Management Compliance Specialist / Engineer

Washington Gas has an immediate need for someone to lead the implementation and execution of Asset Management compliance activities required by applicable regulations (DOT 192 and OSHA PSM). Responsible for maintaining and updating the integrity management program plan. Ensures all compliance related activities are being tracked, measured, documented and conducted in accordance with the IMP plan and applicable regulations. Works continuously to improve asset class system safety and reliability.
You Will:
* Plays a lead role in preparation for compliance audits and commission inspections of the integrity management program and represents the TIMP program during those inspections.
* Responsible for updating TIMP standards and maintaining the Integrity Management Plan.

* Ensures that the program is up-to date with most recent regulations and practices around the industry.

* Manages integrity assessment projects, which typically include in-line inspection projects and/or direct assessment projects.
* Captures performance measures such as incidents, maintenance activities, surveys and inspections of transmission assets.
* Manages the development and implementation of corrective actions and preventive strategies for the TIMP Program.
* Supports inter-departmental initiatives with DIMP, SIMP, and FIMP programs.
* Manages special projects as assigned, which include in-line inspection readiness projects, as well as planning, permitting and construction related to the robotics ILI. Other projects will include valve studies, RCV analysis, cyclic fatigue studies, etc.

* Reviews and finalizes integrity assessment reports and ensures compliance with Integrity Management schedules as outlined in the TIMP plan.
You Have:
* Bachelor’s Degree engineering or related technical field is preferred
* 5+ Years natural gas industry required including 2 years in integrity management preferred
* NACE Certificates for Corrosion and for Integrity Management preferred
* Demonstrated ability to manage projects.
* Working knowledge of DOT CFR 49 Part 192, ASME and NACE regulations where applicable
* Strong verbal and written communication skills required – specifically, the ability document well and to concisely discuss and deliver presentations on key/complex issues, gain consensus, and bring about change by working with employees at all levels across the organization.
* Demonstrated ability to proficiently operate information technology for managing data for business decision making including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,400 to $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
