Job Title: Welder/Fabricator Urgently Hiring!
Pay: $20 – $25/hour depending on experience
Hours: 7:00AM – 3:30PM M-F
Start Date: ASAPWe are seeking a Welder/Fabricator for a Temp-Hire position with our client, a company that manufactures small trailers, rotary brooms, and aluminum flashing in Salem, Oregon. The ideal candidate will be able to read and follow directions and drawings. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a wholesome facility and further your career in this industry, located in Salem, OR.As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for:
- Mig welding steel components
- Operating equipment such as band saws, plasma torch, oxy-fuel torch, grinder, sander, etc
- Operating overhead cranes and forklifts
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High School Diploma / GED
- At least 2 years experience in mig welding steel
- Confidence using measurement tools (tape measure, caliper, square, etc)
- Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment.
- Ability to work independently, and follow directions, understand and interpret drawings, details, and written instructions.
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs consistently and stand for long periods.
- Valid drivers’ license-to drive company vehicle
