Job description

We are recruiting for a Area Sales Director to work with and support our on property Sales teams and General Managers in reviewing and devising sales strategies, deliver and execute sales and marketing plans and activities.This role will manage and lead on a portfolio of key accounts for the Valor portfolio ensuring maximum market share and providing expertise on their specialist sectors.You will be coming to this role with at least 2 years of experience in a Senior Sales and Marketing Manager role within the Hotel sector and must be able to demonstrate a proven record of successfully increasing revenues and meeting (exceeding) targets and budgets.You will have knowledge and experience of working with a major hotel brand – here at Valor we partner with Hilton, Marriott and IHG.

A knowledge of preopening and rebranding/ refurbishing hotels would be advantageous.You will be coaching and assisting the hotel teams in a blended manner – a mix of face to face and remote.
