The Water Resouces Practice is seeking a Water Resources Group Leader in Bellevue, Seattle, Olympia, or Tacoma, WA.

This role requires strong experience organizing and leading teams, producing highquality technical documents, and supporting effective public communications. The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of developing client relationships, leading competitive pursuits, and advancing the growth of a Water Resources practice. Responsibilities include effectively managing projects and leading staff through supervision, coaching, and mentoring, as well as assessing team capabilities and balancing short and longterm utilization. Experience and established client relationships within municipal and federal programs in the Water Resources field are strongly valued and will help expand, complement, or enhance the firm‘s existing key practice areas.

What You’ll DoKey Responsibilities:

• Contribute to a highly flexible, teamoriented environment while supporting the growth and development of the Water Resources group
• Directly manage projects and staff through all phases of project development and delivery, including scoping, budgeting, contract negotiations, and execution
• Oversee team member growth, development, and performance management, including related administrative approvals such as time off, timecards, expense reports, and training
• Mentor and develop staff in professional, technical, and Business Development disciplines
• Drive Business Development efforts by identifying pursuits, serving as a pursuit champion, preparing proposals, and participating in interviews, as needed
• Collaborate with Water and Environment Business Leaders on strategic planning initiatives within the Puget Sound region
• Partner with Water and Environment Business Leaders to identify capital investments, strategic alliances, key hires, acquisitions, and growth opportunities in the Puget Sound region

What You BringRequired Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related Water Resources field, with an emphasis on fish passage, stream restoration, and/or stormwater systems
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States, with Washington licensure preferred
• Minimum of ten (10) years of professional engineering experience, including at least five (5) years in a project management role supporting water resources business development, sales, and project delivery
• Demonstrated proficiency and experience with stormwater management and hydraulic modeling software, such as SMS/SRH2D, MGSFlood, HECRAS, or similar tools
• Strong organizational, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills
