Job Title: Water Mitigation Technician – Urgently Hiring
Pay: $20/Hr. to $25/Hr. + potential for overtime and $40 bonus on on-call days
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM; On-call rotation every 6 weeks; Some nights/weekends required
Start Date: ASAPWe are seeking a Water Mitigation Technician for a full-time, temp-to-hire position for our client, a family-owned restoration company located in Westbrook, ME. The Water Mitigation Technician will support commercial and residential clients in responding to water and sewage damage by performing remediation services. The Water Mitigation Technician will thrive in this role by working efficiently and thoroughly, staying organized and professional on-site, and reliably handling emergency service calls. This is a growth-oriented position located in Westbrook, ME, with advancement opportunities and strong team culture.As a Water Mitigation Technician, you will be responsible for:Sketching and measuring jobsites accuratelyMonitoring, documenting, and drying water and sewage damage using professional equipmentPlacing and removing air movers and dehumidifiers as neededTaking moisture readings and material samplesCompleting clear and detailed documentation through paper forms and company software (Dash)Removing debris and cleaning up job sites after demolition workObtaining required customer signatures for service documentationParticipating in an on-call rotation and responding to emergency situations as neededDriving to job sites using a company vehicleAccurately punching in and out using QuickBooks TimeThe ideal candidate for this role will have:
