  • Prepare and present technical reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Support permitting and regulatory compliance
  • Provide construction-phase services, including submittal review, RFIs, field inspections, and startup/commissioning
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development efforts

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 8+ years of experience in wastewater treatment design and process engineering
  • Strong expertise in municipal wastewater treatment and nutrient removal
  • Proven experience managing projects, delivering on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD required
  • Experience with process modeling tools such as BioWin or GPS-X a plus
  • Experience with funding programs (SRF, USDA Rural Development) a plus
  • Ability to travel approximately 5-10% throughout New England

This is a hybrid role, offering the best of both worlds-collaborate in-office with a high-performing team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the week. We’re committed to supporting work-life balance while maintaining strong team connection and project delivery.
