Now Hiring: Wastewater Treatment Operator

Location: Littleton, MA

Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday, 5:30 AM-2:00 PM

Pay: Starting at $40/hour, depending on license

We are seeking a licensed Wastewater Treatment Operator to support the daily operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant and collection system in Littleton, MA. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient plant performance, regulatory compliance, and adherence to environmental, safety, and quality standards.

The Wastewater Operator will monitor and maintain treatment processes, equipment, and systems in accordance with Massachusetts DEP regulations and company policies, including Quality, Food Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety procedures. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, performing routine maintenance, documenting operational data, and working with chemicals as required in wastewater processing. Candidates must be able to work independently, demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, and maintain accurate operational records using computer systems.

Requirements:

• Valid Massachusetts Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator License, Grade 5 or Grade 6 (required).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in wastewater treatment plant operations and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and regulatory compliance.
• Effective communication and computer skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, walking, bending, and working around chemicals.
