Position Description:Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Pallet Inspector at our Warehouse Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, TexasWarehouse, Manufacturing and Repair positions pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $16.00 per hour
• Schedule: Second Shift Tuesday – Friday 4:30 pm – 3:00 am

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

1 to 2 years or more in Carpentry, Manufacturing environment preferredAbility to comprehend basic mathStrong verbal and written communication skillsAble to work within a diverse work environmentHighly thorough and dependableMust be punctual and have a good attendance recordPerforms work independently with minimal supervisionPossesses a high degree of initiativeDemonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure * Ability toWork independently and as a member of a teamBe a team playerCreate and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) * Operate power equipment in a safe manner

• Lift and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs

Twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basisUse hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements * Work at a steady, fast pace while kneeling and/or twisting

• Follow inspecting process
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8-hour day)

Responsibilities:

• Pallet Inspection/Smetco Operator

• Safely and securely inspect pallets at a rate that meets company standards and in a manner that

meets company safety standards * Manually lift 70lb pallets from a stack to a conveyor; in addition, lift the pallets for inspectionand separation utilizing the Smetco machine * Ensure that proper inspection and separation is met

• Conduct physical inventories as required
• Safety and Security:

• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards
• Must wear all safety equipment while repairing pallets
• Performs duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned
