Job Title: Warehouse Operations SupervisorLocation: BristolSalary: From £30,000 per annum (with additional yearly bonus)Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (Weekend availability required)Type: Permanent PositionStart Date: ImmediatelyWe are hiring for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to work in a busy warehouse facility alongside the Operations Manager. This is a dynamic and hands-on role that requires someone with proven experience managing large teams and working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will be an important part of this team, ensuring smooth operations, quality control, and high customer satisfaction.Duties of a Warehouse Operations Supervisor:You will be working as part of the Warehouse and Logistics team and will be responsible for:

• Managing warehouse activities, including the yard and loading of lorries.
• Conducting staff briefings, overseeing supervisors and team leaders.
• Running a trade counter, stock checks, and cut counts.
• Being the master key holder responsible for locking up the warehouse.
• Quality control and troubleshooting across the site.
• Liaising with the sales team to meet customer and supplier demands.
• Ensuring machinery maintenance, especially cutting machines, and monitoring service checks.
• Supporting the operations management team and working to strict deadlines.

Skills and Experience Required:As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you should have experience with:

• Managing large teams and motivating them to meet high performance standards.
• Stock control, inventory management, and running stock takes.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to meet daily deadlines.
• Proficiency in quality control and ensuring compliance with processes and standards.

It would be beneficial if you also had:

• Trade counter experience, dealing with customers and sales teams.
• Health and Safety knowledge, particularly in a warehouse setting.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with the team and external stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work early and late shifts and occasional weekends.
