Warehouse Lead | Shipping & Receiving

Have at least 1+ years of experience in a leadership role within Warehouse or Shipping & Receiving? This Warehouse Lead position may be the perfect opportunity for you.

In this role, you will be directing and guiding a team with daily Shipping & Receiving duties as well as making sure that orders are fulfilled in a timely matter. This will be a hands-on role and you will be leading a team of about 6 people within the department.

This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire position with a company on the forefront of innovation and technology! The ideal candidate for this position with present strong work-ethic with a “can-do” attitude to produce high quality work and meet client deadlines.  

As a Warehouse Lead you will:

• Follow all Shipping and receiving duties- assisting with processes for incoming products, material handling, and outgoing final products 
• Be responsible for ensuring all large shipments and logistics are planned accurately
• Prepare documents- ie. work orders, bills of lading and shipping orders to route materials 
• Directly participate in the proper training of all employees involved in shipping and receiving operations
• Lead and direct employees, support expectations and goals, and address performance problems.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:50a-2:30p with Mandatory Overtime during peak times of year 

Pay: $20-$22 

Warehouse Lead Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in a warehouse leadership role
• Proven experience in shipping, receiving, order picking, and inventory processes
• Forklift experience with sitdown and standup Raymond Forklifts (certified is a PLUS) 
• Strong communication and organizational skills; Must be detail orientated
• Experience using WMS and PDA software  
• Availability to occasionally work overtime
