Job Title: Warehouse Associate – Urgently Hiring
Pay: $19-22/hr Based on experience
Hours: Monday through Friday, start times may begin as early as 6:00 AM and end as late as 3:30 PM (or until finish). Overtime and weekends as needed.
Start Date: ASAPWe are seeking a Warehouse Associate for a full-time position for our client, a food manufacturing company located in Westbrook, Maine. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for a variety of warehouse and materials handling tasks. Success in this position means being a dependable and detail-oriented team player who can adapt to changing priorities and physical demands. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity located in Westbrook, Maine.As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for:Cross-training and working in all areas within materials and warehouse operationsOperating forklifts and pallet jacks as licensedPerforming accurate basic arithmetic and metric-to-standard conversionsMaking timely decisions and staying organized in a fast-paced environmentLoading, unloading, packing, and staging materialsFollowing all safety and PPE requirements including safety boots and protective gearWorking in varying temperature conditions (as low as 32°F and as high as 90°F)Supporting team members and maintaining a cooperative attitudeCarrying out additional tasks as directed by the warehouse supervisorThe ideal candidate for this role will have:A high school diploma or GED (required)At least 1 year of relevant warehouse or industry experience (preferred)Ability to be licensed to operate forklifts and pallet jacksStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyDependability, flexibility, and a strong work ethicGood communication skills and fluency in English (reading and writing)Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand or sit for extended periodsBenefits:Enjoy affordable health and prescription coverage with no waiting periodBenefits offered by the employer once hired permanentlyAsk us about our Referral Bonus Program to earn extra cashReady to take the next step?
