This senior executive role is pivotal in shaping and executing the company’s long-term technology vision—building secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions that inspire customer confidence and enable business success.Responsibilities of the Vice President of Engineering will include:Strategic & Technical Leadership
- Develop and execute a global engineering strategy aligned with corporate vision and market dynamics.
- Partner closely with executive leadership, product management, and customer success to guide the product roadmap.
- Champion the integration of advanced technologies, AI-driven automation, and multi-cloud innovation to keep us ahead of the curve.
- Cultivate a high-performance, collaborative engineering culture committed to innovation and technical excellence.
- Establish frameworks to ensure the highest standards in system performance, uptime, compliance, and security.
Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps
- Architect and manage resilient, multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) using Kubernetes and supporting cloud-native technologies.
- Oversee a robust DevOps pipeline leveraging Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
- Manage enterprise-grade tools for observability, identity (Keycloak), caching (Redis, Memcache), and secret management (Vault, Sealed Secrets).
Application, Data, and AI Strategy
- Lead end-to-end software development using modern full-stack frameworks (Java, Spring, Angular, React).
- Direct event-driven and microservices-based architectures using Kafka, Pulsar, and scalable databases such as OpenSearch, ClickHouse, and PostgreSQL.
- Define and scale AI/ML integrations, implementing MLOps best practices with tools like Kubeflow, MLflow, SageMaker, and TFX.
- Advance intelligent document processing and AI-driven inference through proprietary engines.
Operational Excellence & Delivery
- Drive agile development practices across global teams to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery.
- Establish KPIs/OKRs for engineering velocity, code quality, and system reliability.
- Lead continuous improvement in deployment pipelines, resource optimization, and technical debt reduction.
- Promote SRE principles to enhance system resilience and operational excellence.
Team Development & Culture
- Recruit, mentor, and grow top-tier engineering talent across multiple regions.
- Build a culture of accountability, diversity, equity, and continuous learning.
- Encourage innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and high-impact results.
Job RequirementsQualifications of the Vice President of Engineering:Must-Have Qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in a VP or senior leadership role in a global SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling engineering teams across multiple geographies.
- Deep technical expertise across cloud platforms, full-stack development, Kubernetes, and AI/ML deployment.
- Strong command of DevSecOps, microservices, and scalable SaaS system design.
- Proven ability to align engineering execution with business strategy and product goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multi-tenant and dedicated SaaS architectures.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
- Understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Background in enterprise-level B2B SaaS deployments with high availability and security requirements.
