Reporting to the Director of Streaming and Podcasting, this role is integral in producing, recording, and editing high-quality video podcast content across our network, including The Ben Mulroney Show, 102.1 The Edge, 640 Toronto, Q107, and Curiouscast.As a key member of our production team, you will work closely with on-air talent, producers, and content managers to bring engaging video podcasts to life. If you have a passion for storytelling, exceptional video editing skills, and thrive in a fast-paced media environment, we want to hear from you!You Will Contribute By:

  • Producing, recording, and editing The Ben Mulroney Show video podcast and other assigned video podcasts from 102.1 The Edge, 640 Toronto, and Q107.
  • Editing and delivering weekly Curiouscast video podcasts.
  • Collaborating with talent and producers to ensure all video podcast productions meet Corus’ quality standards and best practices.
  • Assisting the Director of Streaming and Podcasting and Content Manager in developing new video podcast programming and expanding the network.
  • Managing the delivery of advertising and branded content in coordination with the campaign team.
  • Creating and publishing daily short-form video content across social media platforms.
  • Ensuring timely and professional execution of all projects while adhering to editorial guidelines and deadlines.

Skills and Experience You Will Bring:

  • Post-secondary education in Journalism, Broadcasting, Media Production, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in video production and editing, preferably within a major media network.
  • Expert-level proficiency in video editing and production, including multi-camera podcast setups.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite and other video editing tools.
  • Strong graphic design abilities for video production.
  • A powerful visual storyteller with a deep understanding of video podcasting, content creation, and distribution strategies.
  • A creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • A collaborative team player who can effectively train and mentor colleagues of varying skill levels.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes initiative.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral).
  • A passion for news, politics, arts, pop culture, sports, technology, and digital media.
