Position:Vice President, AI – Healthcare

Position Summary:This role maintains a deep understanding of AI and ML technologies and their application within the healthcare industry and brings expertise in newer generative AI technologies, such as GPT. The position is responsible for providing strategic leadership, driving product delivery, and effectively managing cross-functional teams.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of Lumeris’ AI strategy, aligning it with the company’s overall growth objectives and vision for value-based care.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI, ML, and generative AI technologies, such as GPT, and assess their potential for integration into Lumeris’ product offerings.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, and drive innovation.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, product managers, and engineers, to ensure the successful implementation of AI initiatives.
• Drive the full lifecycle of AI product development, from ideation and prototyping to commercialization and deployment, ensuring consistent achievement of milestones and delivery of high-impact solutions.
• Cultivate relationships with industry partners, academic institutions, and thought leaders to leverage external resources and stay ahead of emerging trends in AI and healthcare.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Stay abreast of healthcare industry challenges and opportunities, leveraging AI technologies to drive meaningful change and enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of at least 10 years in a leadership role, overseeing AI and ML initiatives within the healthcare industry.
• Expertise in newer generative AI technologies such as GPT, with a demonstrated ability to apply these technologies in a healthcare context.
• Strong understanding of value-based care is a plus
• Deep technical knowledge of AI and ML technologies and frameworks.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing and inspiring cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to align technical strategies with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
• A proven track record as visionary leader who can drive innovative ideas and strategies, staying ahead of industry trends

The hiring range for this position is:

$203,000.00-$295,250.00
