The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care medicine , be passionate about animal health, and possess exceptional communication skills to interact with both clients and referring veterinarians.Position Highlights:Superior Salary & Sign-On BonusOpportunity to work with a dynamic, collaborative teamAccess to a fully equipped facility with advanced diagnostic tools and treatmentsContribute to the growth of the critical care department and help shape the clinic’s futureFocused work in critical care with high-impact patient outcomesKey Responsibilities:Provide critical care to hospitalized animals, ensuring timely and effective treatmentConsult with referring veterinarians to offer specialized guidance and treatment recommendationsDevelop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for critically ill patientsMonitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary for optimal recoveryAdminister medications and other therapeutic interventionsPerform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide clinical decisionsMaintain accurate and thorough patient recordsCommunicate effectively with clients, explaining treatment plans and updates on patient progressQualifications:DVM or equivalent degree requiredBoard certification in critical care medicine is preferred but not mandatory2+ years of experience in a veterinary critical care setting is highly preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interaction
