LCV Technician / Mechanic Required in Handcross, West Sussex

• Hours: Monday to Friday 42.5 hours per week, Saturdays on a rota @ overtime rate
• Pay: Up to £38k Basic with £44k OTE per annum + overtime + Bonus

Working within a dynamic Motor Vehicle repair environment for one of the UK’s largest Vehicle Hire companiesThe workshop in Handcross provides maintenance, servicing, and warranty work to our fleet of over 1000 vehicles. The workshop is an integral part of our business, alongside providing regional workshop support to other internal sites and large corporate client fleets in the area.At our client’s business, they have a passion for service, and all our team admires the world-famous brands we work with, including Mercedes, Ford, Vauxhall, and Peugeot, to name a few. They aim to ensure our customer vehicles get back on the road where they belong as quickly as possible, allowing our customers to keep their promises. They are here to keep customers mobile and need a reliable and hardworking technical partner to work with.Your Role:

• Using your technical knowledge to work on the electrical and mechanical systems for a range of light commercial vehicles, we can promise that every day will be packed with variety.
• You will use the diagnostic equipment to get to the root cause of faults, carry out technical maintenance, repair or replace parts, and perform preventive maintenance and MOT preparation.

Your Requirements:

• You will be technically trained or have spent time served in the automotive sector or a similar environment.
• A full driving licence is essential.
• We’ll also expect you to be a team player who’s continually focused on the needs of customers.
