Urgently Hiring a Purchasing Assistant for a Warehouse located in Irving, TX.Location: Irving, TX
Pay Rate: $20 – $25 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Must be able to work Overtime)Responsibilities:
– Review product and stock orders.
– Collaborate with the sales team on product needs, quotes, and sales.
– Partner with inventory control to resolve stocking issues.
– Coordinate with dispatch for pickup orders and deliveries.
– Work with receiving on receipts and resolving product discrepancies.
– Address payables issues with the accounting department.
– Manage vendor relations, including pricing and delivery negotiations.
– Assist in maintaining the product database and uploading current pricing.Requirements:
– Experience in purchasing, inventory management, or related fields.
– Strong communication and negotiation skills.
– Proficiency in vendor and pricing management.
– Ability to work collaboratively across departments (sales, inventory, accounting, and dispatch).
