Hiring a Patient Care Coordinator!Plastic surgery experience requiredJob DescriptionThe patient care coordinator role is the first face seen by patients. This role requires someone who has a ‘can do’ attitude. The ideal candidate should be flexible with their time and available for any 8-hour shift between 7am-7pm, Monday to Friday. This is a full-time position offering 40 hours a week, with varying hours during the summer months.Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Perform data entry and manage patient scheduling.
• Check in patients and manage schedules for physicians.
• Communicate effectively, including discussing plastic surgery terms.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Provide administrative support and handle prior authorizations.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based on-site at a plastic surgery office. The position covers the evening shift from 11am-7pm, but flexibility for any 8-hour shift between 7am-7pm is required. The busy season is from September to May, with 40 hours per week. During the summer months from June to August, the office slows down, guaranteeing 30 hours per week with potential for up to 40 hours. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, and there is a 90-day probationary period for performance. The compensation package reflects a healthy appreciation for work-life balance and offers incentives for team achievements.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 – $34.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
