This is an incredible opportunity for a veterinarian seeking a fulfilling role focused solely on urgent care — no routine wellness visits, no abdominal surgeries, and no overnight ER shifts . You’ll be part of a collaborative, Fear Free Certified team in a modern, fully equipped facility where your expertise and time are truly valued.Position HighlightsUrgent care only – treat walk-in, non-critical cases like GI issues, lameness, minor injuries, and palliative careNo abdominal surgeries or routine wellness appointmentsModern, state-of-the-art facilityFear Free and Feline Friendly CertifiedExcellent technician support and a low-stress cultureFlexible scheduling including swing and second shiftsGreat local lifestyle in a growing, pet-loving communityKey ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage urgent medical cases with efficiency and compassionPrescribe medications, perform diagnostics, and recommend next-step careCommunicate clearly with clients regarding care plans and outcomesDocument all patient records in a cloud-based EMRCollaborate with team members to uphold medical excellenceSupport the development of veterinary nurses via the LevelUp training programQualificationsDVM or VMD degree (or completion of ECFVG/PAVE)Licensed or eligible to practice veterinary medicine in South Carolina1–3 years’ experience in urgent care or small animal medicine preferred (new grads also welcome!)Ability to work independently and in a team environmentStrong communication and case management skillsWho We’re Looking ForA veterinarian passionate about urgent care and efficient, high-quality medicineSomeone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused setting
