Full time Urgent Care Veterinarian – Now Hiring + Hight Salary – Chesapeake, VAA dynamic partner hospital is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their compassionate and highly skilled team in Chesapeake, VA . This is a fantastic opportunity for a veterinarian looking to provide quality care in an urgent care environment, with a focus on treating animals in need of immediate attention—no wellness care involved. • Provide urgent care services to animals, diagnosing and treating a variety of illnesses and injuries.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in line with best practices.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure clear communication about their pets’ health, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Work closely with a skilled technical team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or has successfully completed the ECFVG or PAVE program).
• Active veterinary license in good standing in Virginia (or ability to obtain one).
• Experience in an urgent care setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide top-tier care under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both clients and the veterinary team.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional care while embracing a Fear Free approach to patient handling.
