Full-Time Urgent Care Veterinarian – Hiring Immediately + Excellent Benefits – Greenwood, INAn exciting opportunity is available for an Urgent Care Veterinarian at a state-of-the-art veterinary clinic set to open in Oak Creek, WI , in September 2024 . The clinic will provide high-quality, after-hours urgent care for canine and feline patients, bridging the gap between daytime general practice and emergency services, all while keeping costs more affordable than traditional emergency clinics.Why This Clinic:

• Focus on Urgent Care : The clinic will specialize solely in urgent care—no wellness care or abdominal surgeries. Veterinarians will handle cases like wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia.
• Modern, Fully Equipped Clinic : The clinic will be equipped with cloud-based EMR , digital x-rays , and a full range of IDEXX in-house lab equipment , ensuring that veterinarians have the tools they need to provide exceptional care.
• Work-Life Balance : The clinic will offer a flexible schedule , including swing shifts (second shift) to accommodate personal life, and no overnight shifts .

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a leader in the clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care and maintaining an environment of trust and respect.
• Support the development and growth of the clinic’s staff through engagement with the company’s LevelUp training program .
• Provide an outstanding client experience, emphasizing the human-animal bond and delivering exceptional care.
• Manage a diverse caseload of urgent care patients, including surgeries and appointments, within the clinic’s operating hours.

Qualifications:

• A DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
• An active veterinary license in Wisconsin (or the ability to obtain one prior to employment).
