Trainee Recruitment Delivery ConsultantThe People Network are a modern Talent Solutions Partner dedicated to connecting top talent with leading employers.With an ever-growing pipeline of vacancies, we are now seeking a Trainee Recruitment Delivery Consultant to join our dynamic team.Working in a fast-paced environment, this is a varied role where you will be responsible for supporting our experienced Consultants. You’ll play a crucial role in sourcing, engaging, and delivering top-tier technology talent to our clients. You’ll be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from understanding client requirements to sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates.You day-to-day responsibilities will include:– Candidate Sourcing: Using various sourcing techniques, including database searches, advertising, networking, job boards and social media to identify, engage and attract qualified candidates that meet our client’s needs
– Screening and Assessment: Conducting thorough screening interviews with candidates over the phone or via video to assess qualifications, skills and fit
– Candidate Management: Organising interview logistics, guiding candidates through the process, providing feedback and ensuring a fantastic candidate experience
– Talent Pooling: Building diverse pipelines of the best niche skilled tech talent to meet our clients current and future hiring needs.
– Market Research: Gathering market information, industry trends, insights and leads that can aid recruitment strategies and further client acquisition.
– Admin: Maintaining our internal candidate database, updating interview summaries and ensuring candidates meet compliance requirements.We will provide you with a comprehensive training programme and all the tools you will need to be successful, including a laptop, cutting-edge CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter license, and access to multiple job boards.To be considered, you will be a self-motivated, driven, people-person with an outgoing personality and strong written and verbal communication skills. You will have strong interpersonal skills, be able to quickly build rapport and will possess a good level of emotional intelligence. You must also have strong computer literacy skills (ideally in MS Office) and good attention to detail and will possess the ability to prioritise tasks, manage your time effectively, and work autonomously. Previous experience within a recruitment environment would be highly advantageous but is not essential and you may be coming from a customer service or sales role and looking to break into recruitment. An interest in the technology sector would also be beneficial.
