· Provide dedicated support to teachers in creating an engaging environment for children to work within.
· Assist children with their academic, social, and emotional development, offering individual attention and guidance based on their needs.
· Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement an effective learning environment. .
· Foster a positive classroom atmosphere with positive praise and behaviour strategies.
· Support students with special educational needs on a 1-1 basis.
· Communication is key, so passing on the correct information with teachers, parents, and staff members to ensure a cohesive educational experience is crucially important.
· Contribute to the overall welfare and well-being of children ensuring you are following safeguarding procedures.

Experience:
· Must have an enhanced DBS with child workforce on it which is on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
· Recent, relevant work experience that has given exposure to working with children, young adults or Special Educational Needs .
· Has empathy and patience for working with students.
