- Coordinate with commercial carriers and transportation operating agencies to resolve problems
- Utilize various virtual programs to complete various transportation functions.
- Develop and Implement policies for transportation of material.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) may be required up to 5% of the time.
- This is a term position not to exceed 2 years. This appointment may be extended in increments of 2 years to a maximum of 8 years. Extensions are not guaranteed and are contingent upon budget and workload
- This position is subject to a one-year trial period.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain Ammo-62 certification within 1 year of occupying the position.

OREducation: Master’s or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, or other fields related to the position. ORCombination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18.
