We’re hiring a UK Trading Manager to lead trading activity for a well-known consumer brand, balancing commercial planning with hands-on execution.This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home 3 days a week, alongside in-office collaboration in Brighton, Sussex.What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage trading performance for the UK market, ensuring delivery against sales, margin, and stock targets.
• Lead forecasting, planning, and promotional activity, optimising product availability and profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams – including merchandising, supply chain, and marketing – to align trading strategy with business goals.
• Analyse trading data to make informed decisions and respond quickly to market trends.
• Present key performance insights to stakeholders and support ongoing trading improvements.

What You’ll Bring:

• 4+ years’ experience in a similar trading, category, or commercial role.
• Proven background in retail, FMCG, clothing, or a related consumer-led industry.
• Advanced Excel skills – confident in using formulas, pivot tables, and data models to support forecasting and decision-making.
• Strong knowledge of stock control, promotional planning, and commercial forecasting.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to manage the detail and see the bigger picture.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
