Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience working independently, supervising/teaching undergraduates in research techniques, prior experience performing bacteriophage purification and amplification, bacteriophage genome isolation, safe-handling of phenol, preparation of TEM samples, familiarity with the SEA-PHAGES program, and archiving of bacteriophage stocks are important assets.

Nature of Work:

• Each TA will supervise a laboratory section, so must be able to work well independently, be a good communicator (in English and/or French) and have superior technical skills.
