position Overview:
This position is a full-time, temporary position (through July 31, 2027) to coordinate a grant-funded project to facilitate the installation of heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, and home weatherization for eligible residents located in west Eugene.

Benefits
Beyond Toxics offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. The organization provides five employer-sponsored medical plans, including vision coverage, through Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Dental insurance is also available through Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Employees are eligible for health benefits beginning the first of the month following their hire date. A SIMPLE IRA plan with a 3% employer match, which is fully vested, is also available.
New employees receive 84 hours of paid time off during their first year, prorated based on their hire date, along with 13 paid holidays per calendar year, and Summer Fridays.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive background check, which may include criminal history, education verification, motor vehicle history and employment verification including professional references.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire including submitting required documents within three days of hire.

In mid-2026 we ratified our first Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Communication Workers of America, Local 7901. Work Environment
Beyond Toxics is dedicated to providing a flexible hybrid work environment. Our office is located in Eugene, Oregon, and all employees are offered a hybrid schedule, typically working three days per week in the office and two days remotely, with the flexibility to adjust as needed. The open office layout fosters collaboration and encourages effective communication among team members.
