Our strong work culture drives high employee satisfaction, and we’re looking for individuals who are passionate about using our company values to grow, take ownership, and make a positive impact.What we are looking for in a Test Engineer:Within the first year, develop a thorough understanding of the current testing system and actively contribute to implementing improvements that reduce test time by 50%, enhancing throughput without compromising essential test criteria to ensure optimal unit performance. Work towards eliminating 100% of out-of-box field failures for Zinwave products by refining testing procedures and identifying potential issues early. Maintain 100% uptime of test systems to support production needs and ensure consistent performance. Collaborate with Design Engineers to ensure that designs are validated and meet test specifications prior to production launch, guaranteeing high-quality and reliable products.Responsibilities

• Within three months of hire:

• Demonstrate deep understanding of test system functionality by proposing modifications to testing protocols to reduce test time in-line with the mission.
• Document maintenance activities and any issues, providing insights that contribute to achieving the goal of 100% station uptime.
• Within six months of hire:

• Contribute to code updates and modifications to enhance testing processes in Gen8.
• Exhibit strong troubleshooting skills by effectively addressing issues with both hardware and software.
• Collaborate with Design Engineers to replicate testing procedures that validate the design and ensure the product’s functionality, ultimately ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Assist in developing an audit process to ensure production specifications are correctly established, leading to reliable and manufacturable products.

Requirements:

• Capable of sitting for up to 8 hours a day. Bending, crouching, kneeling, and/or sitting in tight spaces.
• Bachelor’s Degree/UK Equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Strong computer skills with Windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools
• LabVIEW, MatLab, Agilent VSA, Visio, Altium, National Test Stand or SolidWorks software products, and any other engineering software products.
• Programming experience with C, C++, or C# related languages
• 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area required
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures
• Read test data and draw insightful conclusions and suggestions.
• Collaborate and follow common coding practices as well as establish a good working relationship with peers, in both UK and US teams in a clear & timely manner (written and verbal communication).
