Hardware EngineeringGeneral Summary:The Test Development Engineer is responsible for pre and post silicon validation of Qualcomm IPs, ensuring they meet new product introduction milestones and are ready for mass production.This role requires a strong understanding of hardware and software, along with analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills to create test systems, execute tests, and troubleshoot issues. Collaboration with Qualcomm cross-functional teams, such as Digital Design, Analog Design, and Firmware/Software Engineers, is essential to develop and implement IP test and characterisation plans. Focus areas include Analog/Digital Audio, Power Management Units (PMU), battery charger, radio, and auxiliary functions.The TD Engineer must manage tasks effectively and ensure timely delivery in line with business requirements, executing with minimal guidance from senior team membersKey Responsibilities:
