Forseven, a revolutionary company looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our highly skilled and dynamic IT team. This role is a hybrid position and can be worked from either of our sites in Shalford (Near Guildford) or Leamington Spa 3 days per week.In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests, ensuring the quality of software through use of CI/CD pipelinesWe would like you to:

• Create unit tests for front-end components
• Develop integration tests to verify communication between front-end and back-end services
• Work closely with front-end, back-end, and mobile developers to understand application functionality and design test cases
• Refactor and improve existing test scripts for better maintainability and efficiency
• Research and implement new testing tools and frameworks relevant to the project

We would like you to have:

• Understanding of Software Engineering principles, preferably in a cloud native environment
• Experience with popular test automation frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Appium, and tools such as Selenium
• A good Understanding of AWS security best practices for test environments is also beneficial
• Certifications (beneficial to have): – ISTQB Certified Tester – AWS certifications, eg. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
