Temp Warehouse Customer Service Representative (with Forklift Experience) DNC

An HVAC parts distributor is looking for a Warehouse Customer Service Representative/ Forklift Operator to join their Day shift ! This company distributes a complete offering of HVAC equipment, parts, supplies, and solutions across North America with 220 locations in 22 states.  

In this position, your primary responsibilities will involve connecting with customers and the operation of forklifts, to distribute products. Additionally, you will be delivering products and engaging directly with customers.  

This is an temporary opportunity with weekends off, a close-knit family-like team and growth opportunities.

Warehouse Customer Service Job Duties:

• Operate Sit Down Forklift and adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized counter area. Ensure a safe working environment for both customers and colleagues.?
• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the right HVAC/R products and supplies for their needs. Provide expert advice, product information, and recommendations.
• Accurately process customer orders, ensuring that all requested items are available, properly priced, and invoiced correctly. Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision. Document customer transactions, including invoices, returns, and warranty claims.
• Maintain a deep understanding of our HVAC/R product inventory, including specifications, compatibility, and pricing. Stay up to date with industry trends and new product releases.

• Monitor and replenish stock levels on the sales floor. Conduct regular inventory counts and report any discrepancies to the store manager.

Schedules: Monday-Friday

• Day Shift 7:30AM-4:00PM

Pay: $18.00- 19.00 per hour

Forklift Operator Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years of Sit Down Forklift
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout shift
