We are excited to announce a rare opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Team Manager to join our dynamic Adult Future Options service.Our Residential and Supported Living teams deliver crucial services within their respective environments, ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care and support.This post will provide operational leadership to existing teams of social workers and social care practitioners within our Supported Living Team.We are seeking individuals who are not only dedicated and hardworking but also possess the ability to make autonomous professional decisions that safeguard the welfare of vulnerable adults.As a Supported Living Team Manager, you will have the opportunity to assist with leading, motivating and managing a team ensuring the service provided is consistent, effective and delivers positive outcomes. The work is fast paced and challenging, you will need to be a solution focussed individual who can quickly adapt to change.We are always delighted to receive applications from talented candidates in associated fields and professions.About youAs our ideal candidate you will:

  • Have experience from Adult’s Social Work Services, within Local Authority or the Private Sector.
  • Have knowledge and experience of applying statutory legal frameworks and policies including the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Making Safeguarding Personal, and Continuing Healthcare Frameworks.
  • Root your practice in compassion, social work values and theories, understanding the why of what we do in our unique profession, to best promote people’s wellbeing.
  • Be confident in working with situations of varying complexity and be able to make appropriate decisions quickly to support those in crisis, and to ensure people are seen and supported in a timely manner.
  • Know how to work with our partner agencies to help people find solutions to maximise their independence and resilience, enabling people to take positive risks, and lead good lives.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, experience of managing and developing others and a creative approach to problem solving.
