We would love to talk with you!As a Sourcing Team Leader, you will provide line management and leadership for a team of 7 Sourcers, Sourcing Specialists and Principal Sourcing Specialists. You’ll be a talent acquisition expert and trusted adviser and will partner with senior stakeholders to fully understand and influence their recruitment requirements and strategies. You’ll drive team engagement, leading, coaching, developing and inspiring your team to find and deliver high calibre talent for the Client and an exceptional experience to our candidates.Key AccountabilitiesThings you will do:Managing a team of diverse individuals setting them up for success and enabling them to grow their careers
- Setting clear objectives and having regular quality conversations (weekly 121s) to discuss individual performance, development and wellbeing.
- Talent champion – training, coaching & advising your team to build its technical and strategic capability.
- Recognising and rewarding growth, promoting talent and addressing underperformance.
Leading & inspiring high performance, driving team performance to ensure successful delivery against key metrics through engagement and accountability:
- Regular and informal touch points to discuss performance
- Support the team in ensuring understanding and application of effective recruitment techniques and the innovative use of available tools
- Positive role model, proactively leading the team to think strategically
- Subject matter expert, providing support to the team to develop bespoke, targeted sourcing plans
- Maintain accuracy in reporting and tracking to drive accountability, manage capacity & identify areas of improvement
- Talent reviews and succession plans
Partnering with senior stakeholders building influential relationships
- Acting as a Trusted Advisor, use data and insights to drive confidence in recruitment strategies, set expectations and challenge barriers to success in a constructive and solutions focused way
- Business reviews to discuss performance against targets
- First point of call for escalations, supporting the team and partnering with Recruiters to ensure quick and robust resolution
- Partnering with CST team to deliver a seamless AMS experience to both Hiring Managers and candidates
Skills & ExperienceWhat you need to have to be successful:Must Haves:
- Deep Sourcing expertise with extensive experience of proactive sourcing techniques and strategies
- Previous experience of working in a Team Lead role
- Experience of working with various platforms and technologies as part of the recruitment process including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, Google X-ray search
- Confident and articulate when communicating with stakeholders at a senior level. Able to handle objections and difficult conversations and influence outcomes positively
- Experience coaching/mentoring with a demonstrable passion for developing people
- Comfortable managing competing projects, priorities and deadlines requiring collaboration with senior colleagues
- Data driven mindset with the ability to digest, retain and utilise information and insight and use it to influence client’s decision making and sourcing strategies
