Job Title: Team Leader – Band D – Local Support Services – Counter Terrorism Policing HQSalary: The starting salary is £37,289, which includes allowances totalling £2,841.The salary is broken down as £34,448 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £36,864. Plus, a location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.Location: West BromptonJob summaryThe Counter Terrorism Policing Headquarters (CTPHQ) is the corporate centre for CT Policing, and provides services to the entire UK CT Policing network, nationally and internationally.The role holder will be required to manage a team in providing a broad range of business support services to staff at CTOC and elsewhere.Key tasks/responsibilitiesThe post holder will be required to do the following:

  • To lead and manage the CTOC Building Management Team (BMT) in delivering a broad range of business support services to staff based at CTOC and elsewhere.
  • Managing the delivery of procurement, building and accommodation management, locker management, and the escorting of contractors whilst working in sensitive areas.
  • Undertake day-to-day problem solving, performance management and to support continuous improvement.
  • To provide an interface between the CTOC BMT, SO15 & CTP personnel, and staff employed by partner agencies.
  • To take an active role in the recruitment of staff when required.

VettingThis post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis. Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Developed Vetting (DV) level before taking up the post.Additionally, this material is of particular sensitivity to the UK and its distribution must be restricted to UK nationals. In approved circumstances dual nationals (of which one element is British) may also be granted access. However, in the event that potential conflicts of interest cannot be managed the post holder will not be able to see the intelligence material and will not be able to perform their duties.
