About Team Kentucky Internship Program
The Team Kentucky Internship Program was established to bring talented and motivated college students into the world of public service. The program provides meaningful and relevant work experience, professional development activities, and offers interns networking opportunities with other interns across the Commonwealth, all while working alongside state government officials.
The Team Kentucky Internship Program is designed to be a prestigious and competitive program; therefore, interested applicants must complete an online application and be vetted through an interview process. Those selected for the program will perform valuable work in our state agencies.
To be considered for a position in the Team Kentucky Internship Program, candidates must:
- Be enrolled at an accredited Kentucky post-secondary school or other educational institution approved by the Kentucky Personnel Cabinet.
- Be in good standing with the school with at least a 2.5 grade point average at hire.
