– Competitive bonus structure and exciting summer hours.Your Key Responsibilities:– Lead the way in tax compliance across Canada and the U.S., researching and analyzing tax issues related to transactions, and recommending strategies that benefit the organization.
– Streamline internal processes to ensure tax compliance is smooth and efficient.
– Review and prepare tax forms and returns.
– Contribute to the ongoing automation and improvement of tax processes, ensuring the accounting system is up-to-date with transactions.
– Manage tax audits and engage directly with tax authorities.
– Handle U.S. state and local tax issues and evaluate state tax obligations.
– Collaborate with external tax advisors on specialized mandates.
– Stay ahead of changes in tax legislation, providing insightful updates and recommendations to management.
