Description :O2E Brands is looking for a Tax Analyst to join our growing team! As part of the Finance department, you will assist with the Preparation of Canadian and US corporate and partnership returns and related forms.🏢 HYBRID WORK ENVIRONMENTAll team members in Vancouver will be required to work in-office every other week, for three consecutive days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). To support business priorities, core hours of attendance will be mandatory from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on these days.💼 A DAY IN THE LIFE-Preparation of Canadian and US corporate and partnership returns and related forms, including T1134 and T106-Preparation of various other compliance filings, including but not limited to T5’s and US Form 1099’s-Preparation of annual income tax provision and tax disclosure under ASPE and US GAAP-Assistance in the calculation of corporate tax instalments-Preparation of Canadian, US, and Australian sales tax returns-Assistance with updating and maintaining working papers and calculations (e.g. ACB, capital gain, safe income and surplus)-Assistance with the preparation of transfer pricing documentation-Assistance with responding to tax inquiries including tax audits, from various tax jurisdictions-Assistance with research projects on tax or accounting-related topics-Support ad hoc finance, accounting, and tax projects as needed🎯 WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE-CPA designation or working towards CPA designation-3+ years of relevant tax experience-Strong Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables-Organized, meticulous, and a strong problem solver with a willingness to adapt to changes-Team-oriented, proactive and organized-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-Strong analytical and research skills-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment-Ability to handle account reconciliations and analysis including resolution of reconciling items-Completion or enrollment in In-Depth Tax Program or US tax experience is an asset-Experience in Netsuite and/or Taxprep is an asset💰 COMPENSATION & BENEFITS-Salary $70,000 – $80,000 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity). Sales roles may be eligible for an annual sales bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.-The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Dental.
