With a strong local presence and top-tier talent, we deliver high-quality services as we help our customers bring their resources to our world.Job DescriptionAs a Talent Acquisition Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in driving FLINT’s recruitment success by attracting and retaining top talent in a high-volume environment. Reporting to the Director of Recruitment, your work will focus on strategic initiatives to expand our talent pool and enhance sourcing effectiveness through innovative candidate sourcing, social media campaigns, talent community partnerships, and the effective use of recruitment tools. By leveraging data-driven strategies, you will ensure access to diverse labour pools while supporting the recruitment team in acquiring and retaining a critical workforce.Qualifications

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities; expertise in sourcing tools (e.g., social media, Boolean searches), recruitment metrics, and data analytics; knowledge of job boards and virtual recruitment tools.
  • Establish and maintain consistent, high-quality relationships and networks to keep up with market trends and to support current and future talent sourcing strategy at FLINT
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new technology, proactively identifying opportunities to optimize talent acquisition strategies and processes.
  • Proven ability to lead large recruitment campaigns, develop sourcing strategies, and build talent pools, strong collaboration with field operations and corporate departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems (e.g., Smart Recruiters), and candidate database management; experience with branding and multi-channel recruitment campaigns preferred.

  • Build networks and partner with groups like Indigenous organizations and technical schools to support talent strategies.
  • Execute high-volume hiring plans and lead digital initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Manage social media campaigns and ensure consistent, diversity-focused job postings.
  • Track performance, refine strategies, and manage recruitment budgets.
  • Attend hiring events, follow up with candidates, and support recruitment projects.
