Job description
We are looking for a (Junior) Talent Acquisition Specialist to help identify and attract top talent to join the Legal 500 team. This position will play a pivotal role in the HR team to continue our move towards a 100% direct sourcing model and enhance our ability to build the Legal 500 team during a period of growth.About Legal 500:Legal 500 is a global legal research and publishing company that provides comprehensive information on leading law firms and lawyers. We are committed to delivering high-quality research to our clients, helping them make informed decisions about their legal needs. We are the forefront of legal publishing and data, creating high quality publications and products for leading legal professionals and their clients.Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, providing them with regular updates on recruitment progress and addressing their needs
- Recruitment Lifecycle: Manage the recruitment process from initial screening calls, interview coordination and onboarding process for new hires
- Recruitment Data Analysis: Track and analyse recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement within hiring processes
- Employer Branding: Collaborate with the Marketing team to contribute to the development and implementation of employer branding initiatives to enhance Legal 500’s reputation as an attractive employer via social media and recruitment events
Essential Skills and Experience:
- We’re ideally looking for someone with at least one to three years experience either in an agency setting (into professional services ideally) or in-house in an SME environment
- Strong track record of successfully sourcing candidates from one or many of: Sales, Research/Editorial, Technology, Marketing & Operations (with confident use of LinkedIn Recruiter being essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools – we have recently implemented Screenloop as our ATS – for managing candidate experience
- Data-led, understands the impact that clean data can have in influencing direction with stakeholers
- Curiousity and the ability to think critiically, particularly when it comes to challenging hiring managers on their recruitment needs
- Adaptability and an open mind to different situations and finding solutions to hiring-related problems
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices and industry trends
- Experience hiring into research and editorial teams
- A general understanding of the legal industry and/or publishing industry
Working arrangements: We operate a hybrid work policy – 3 days in office (Fleet Street, City of London) and 2 days remoteSalary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum
