States

As a Superintendent you play a pivotal role in leading our onsite construction
operations. Your leadership ensures efficient site management, strict OSHA compliance, exceptional quality assurance, accurate
billing, and effective mentorship. By leading the subcontractor partners, you drive outstanding outcomes on-site, fostering a culture of
excellence and safety REPORTING & SCOPE1. This position reports in tandem directly to the Onsite Project Manager and General/Senior Superintendent within
the region.
2. Ensure regular client updates are provided LEADERSHIP
3. Lead, inspire and coach the extended team to ensure the continual growth of the business.
4. Identify, and lead change in the development of solutions to re-occurring issues, processes or resources.
5. Approve the refinement of Standard Operating Procedures that are best in class and reflect best practice for the
businesses.
6. Develop an integrated team of resources, both external and internal that accelerates the best outcome of jobs.
This includes sourcing, selection and positive management of Subcontractors who align with JLG values and are cost-effective.
7.Build and maintain a technically capable, customer-centric and results orientated team. Ensure they always strive
to grow the business and do not settle for second best.
8. Ensure overall training requirements such as toolbox meetings, pre-start meetings, and debrief sessions are held,
attended and understood by all required staff.
9. Ensure employee compliance with all company policies and practices, including safety standards, company
uniform standards
10. Be a leader always. Be on call, be positive and demonstrate the highest levels of Drive and Energy. Get onsite and
solve problems in real time Project Delivery1. To assist with our SLA’s, ensure the following KPI’s are constantly achieved and exceeded:
2. Pre-Production to WIP – 30 Days
3. Work in progress to Completed without Paperwork – 200 Days
4. Completed without paperwork to Invoice – 30 days
5. Maintain an average of 9 to 10 or “Promotor” status for all NPS surveys
6. Work closely with the assigned Project Manager to complete job handover prior to starting
7. Ensure from the Onset that Procore is correctly set up and ready for production
8. Ensure that all prestart project checklists are completed and saved into Procore including WCE.
9. For jobs that require a building permit, all documentation and signage need to be installed on site
10. Ensure that all RFI, plan changes and communications including OEC are saved and logged in Procore.Superintendent
1. Through the co-accountability manage complaints and issued raised with the relevant management immediately.
2. Efficiently coordinate all trades and subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
3. Proactively address site challenges with effective solutions and clear communication to all stakeholders.
4. Maintain thorough records of daily activities, incidents, and communications for transparency and accountability.
5. Actively participate in OEC meetings (& Other) ensuring all content is accurate and insightful.Budget / Cost Management
1. Ensure no trade starts work onsite without a purchase order or undertakes any works not apart of the signed
“Scope of
2. Works”. Ensure trades are aware that they will not be paid for works completed without a PO.
3. Weekly updates to be provided to all key stakeholders and saved in Procore
4. Prior to the approval of any invoice photos must be obtained all works that have been completed saved in
Procore
5. No invoice is to be approved without proof of the works being completed.
HEALTH & SAFETY
1. Uphold the highest quality standards, ensuring all work meets design specifications and exceeds client
expectations.
2. Implement regular inspections and audits to proactively identify and resolve quality issues.
3. Deliver projects that enhance client trust and position the company as a leader in reconstruction excellence.
4. Promote, maintain, and drive the successful execution of all OH& Standards, practices, and systems. Be relentless
in challenging yourself and every member of the team to ensure safe working conditions in every instance and
compliance to all legal mandates.
5.Ensure you are always kept up to date with the most recent OSHA policies and sub-contractors are advised
accordingly. Further, ensure that all company OSHA policies are adhered to.
6. If applicable, incident reports completed, forwarded to OSHA
7. Ensure that any communications to health, safety and environment regulators is undertaken as per the applicable
laws and guidelines and that a state managers are kept updated of the reason for these communications and the
results of any investigations as a resultJob Types: Full-time, Direct hire
