Cranberry Township, Butler County, is seeking summer 2026 interns for a unique opportunity with several Cranberry Township departments.
THOSE INTERESTED IN APPLYING TO THE SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM MAY ONLY SUBMIT THEIR Application TO ONE DEPARTMENT.
Engineering & Environmental Services oversees projects dealing with infrastructure (including waterlines, storm and sanitary sewers) as well as Township parks and facility improvements. The department also ensures the Township is compliant with all environmental rules and regulations. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to, project management, site inspections, research on best practices, data entry, assisting with safety initiatives, and coordination with other Township Departments.
The program will run from approximately May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026. While interns will spend most of their time with the department they were hired on with, this internship will include events, presentations, facility tours, and volunteer activities to allow interns to get a sense of the entire Township operation. This position is expected to be approximately 40 hours per week.
Applicants must be CURRENTLY ENROLLED in a POST-SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION. Students seeking an Associates, Bachelors, or Masters degree in a relevant major preferred.
Approximate Hourly Wage: $13.00
