As an integral member of the Subsidiary Finance team, and working as part of the wider UHS Group finance team, you will be responsible for financially leading and delivering on the innovative and exciting projects that the subsidiaries are managing in 2025 and embedding the new processes, practices and policies to ensure the financial monitoring supports the longer term success of the projects.Attached you will find the person specification document which provides more detail about the essential and desirable skills and experience needed for this role. • Highly developed specialist knowledge, underpinned by theory and experience and an in-depth specialist knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
• Current / recent experience in a finance environment.
• Knowledge of designing and working with spreadsheets.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate the results of such analysis.
• Experience of Financial project management, modelling and appraisal.

Desirable

• Current / recent knowledge and understanding of the NHS financial environment.
• Ability to make use of systems (e.g., Excel, Word) to prepare and present accurate, clear information and reports
• Previous experience of working with Oracle Finance systems.
• Record of improving processes and reporting in previous roles.
• Ability to make use of systems (e.g., Excel, Word) to prepare and present accurate, clear information and reports.
• Previous experience of working with Oracle Finance systems.
