| Under general supervision, performs responsible technical?level work in the operations, maintenance, and compliance areas of the Stormwater Division. Work involves assisting the Stormwater Manager in complying with the City’s NPDES MS4 permit; conducting construction site inspections for compliance with ordinances; performing environmental quality sampling and assessments; and providing community education and outreach on environmental issues. Reports to the Stormwater Manager. |

| Minimum Qualifications | |
| Requires technical degree and one (1) to two (2) years of responsible experience in stormwater compliance, construction inspections, etc. or any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. | |
| Must possess a valid South Carolina driver’s license. Must be a Certified Erosion Prevention & Sediment Control Inspector (CEPSCI) or possess equivalent certification or have the ability to obtain it within six months of hire. Obtain Certified Stormwater Plan Reviewer (CSPR) certification within one (1) year of employment. | |
