THE OPPORTUNITYWe have the exciting opportunity to join the Stock team within our Warehouse Operations department as Stock Supervisor.As a Stock Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will coach and mentor Stock Team Leaders to effectively lead a team and coordinate the movement of stock from delivery to dispatch. You will be responsible for managing and allocating the needs and requirements of Bulk/Overstock, Stock and House Account teams to ensure the accurate and prompt flow of stock between company locations.Additionally, you will plan and implement container arrivals and workloads, troubleshooting any stock inconsistencies and liaising with the Production Manager and Logistics team. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift through effective communication, setting up the next shift team for success.We are looking for someone with strong stock experience, ideally from an FMCG environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and optimising stock levels, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock control processes. If you are a proactive leader with excellent problem-solving skills and a solid background in stock control, this could be the perfect role for you. Your ability to anticipate and address stock-related challenges, coupled with your experience in a fast-paced FMCG setting, will be crucial in driving our success.You will be based onsite at our bright and cheery Warehouse in Banbury, Oxfordshire 5 days per week. The standard shift pattern for this role is 5 days a week, 9am- 5pm but may change due to business needs so flexibility is a must. During our peak periods, we operate on a ‘any 5 in 7′ basis, this essentially means that you could be occasionally required to work a shift between the hours of 6am and 10pm on any day of the week, this will include occasional weekend days during peak times of the year with one weeks’ notice.BEHIND THE BRANDSWe’re a family-run, entrepreneurial company with an exciting pace of life and a bright and friendly team.   • Providing a clean and safe working environment by ensuring that housekeeping standards are maintained
  • Supporting with recruitment, investigation and disciplinaries for your team as required and in collaboration with HR
  • Carrying out appraisals on all direct reports and set measurable and challenging yet achievable targets
  • Supporting continuous improvement by part taking in projects
  • Taking responsibility for the smooth running of your shift through effective communication, ensuring continuity with the team next on shift and setting them up to succeed
  • Reporting to the Production Manager on priorities such as planned work allocation and workload for the team, status of work completed and performance of individuals
  • Managing and allocating the needs and requirements of the Bulk/Overstock, Stock and House Account teams to ensure flow of stock is accurate and prompt between company locations
  • Ensuring stock is efficiently moved through locations in the business to enable the production process to continue efficiently
  • Accurately recording and reporting on stock levels, Including packaging.
  • Troubleshooting any stock inconsistencies, liaising with the Production Manager and Logistics team to ensure consistency of stock management system and physical stock, including packaging.
  • Onboarding new team members, ensuring they receive full training to do their job at an exceptional standard
  • Providing feedback and training to staff where required
  • Planning and implementing container arrivals and workload
  • Motivating your team to achieve KPIs
  • Analysing key data to effectively plan production and conduct relevant, timely reporting
  • Leading by example and maintaining a flexible approach to meet business needs
  • Any other ad hoc duties as reasonably requested by the Company
